Greetings.
As an addendum to my previous missive regarding “chase,” it is with significant irritation that I must report an uptick in Marge’s and Brigid’s propositions of just such an activity with myself. To be specific, I am the recipient of multiple unwanted episodes of “chase.”
I’ve been in stern conversation (likely perceived as irritated meowing to the untrained ear) with both Marge and Brigid, and while I don’t find their reflective lives to be of any substance, we are on speaking terms. But in recent moments of contact, I’ve observed even their limited cognitive functions to cease, superseded by one thought only: CAT. They are both young, and thus I have hope for future maturation on their part. But I must admit, also, to an escalating fear that our years together might be one of constant “chase” refusals on my part.

I will hope for a swift decline for both Marge and Brigid, including early-onset arthritis, hip dysplasia, and macular degeneration. Protective action on your part (I suggest electric shock) prior to that eventuality would be appropriate, and many would say, the least that you could do.
In vexation,
Henry
