Wilma:
A sow’s teats are in two lines along her belly.
Kune sows usually have room for at least ten piglets, often more.
The sow lies on her side while her piglets nurse, stacked in busily sucking rows.
Piglets hunt for the sow’s teats right away – they are born hungry.
And piglets stay hungry, eating and sleeping and eating and sleeping, all piled together.
But piglets worry that someone might be getting more.
They nurse and then check and then move and then nurse and then check again.
