Wilma:
When sows have piglets we call it farrowing.
Kune piglets are born tiny, but they grow fast.
At first, piglets nurse and sleep and nurse some more.
Their brains and snouts are ready, and soon their legs catch up.
Then they learn to run and play and jump.
But they always like to eat, and they always like to sleep.
And they always make great big piglet piles.
Mona:
Pig gestation goes
For three months, three weeks, three days.
Long time for the sow.
